Illness benefit and prsi credits help

hey,

I have been off on unpaid leave (after maternity) and was claiming illness benefit, do i still need to get my employer to fill out form to claim my credits or would i be ok seeing as i was on illness benefit-would i get the stamps anyhow????

If you are claiming ill benefit after you paid maternity leave, you cannot claim unpaid maternity leave, you either choose one but cannot have both.

You will have received a PRSI credit for each week you claimed Illness Benefit and submitted a medical cert.
