Hi,
im just wondering if anybody could help me on my situation.I have been claiming illness benfit for several months and my doctor thinks i will be unfit for full time work for a while yet .my illness has regular flare ups and i attend hospital /physio regurlarly and take meds it got so bad last year i eventually had to give up working after too many absences under my doctors advice as too much stress makes illness worse.i hope to go back working in the next few months but to just get started would love to do a course/part time hours to see how i get on an d give me a chance to get back into the workplace and improve my skills/employment prospects in the future.I was just wondering how i apply to do a course when receiving illness benefit as have read you need permission from DSFA before applying how do i get permission? do i ring them up and ask i've already attended a medical exam with them .also if anyone has any experiences of applying for course etc fas while on illness benefit could they let me know how they got on .thanks to all who reply ,much appreciatiated.!
