If you defer a CAO course do you get any more offers?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
You defer on by writing to the HEI... I assume this is Higher Education Institute....
So you dont click accept on CAO website .....

The CAO handbook has the details of what you must do here:

It seems to say you don't accept it but there are very clear instructions on how and when you must contact the HEI.

Edited to say - I assume the process for further offers remains the same as long as you follow the instructions.

You must also contact the relevant HEI two days before your cut-off date which appears to be Monday/Tuesday next week so to-day would appear to be deadline.
