If I travel for a year and rent out apt what happens trs?

As the title says.

Have an apt for 3 years. Need to travel abroad for work.

Plan ok coming after 1 year. Do I stop claiming for the 1 year and then continue when I come back??

Do I and a form into revenue and register as investor and when I come back do the opposite??

You need to contact TRS section of revenue and register with PRTB. You also need to complete tax returns for each tax year the property is let. See the attached guide especially What if Rents are payable to a non-resident landlord? as you may be considered non resident

I there a specific time frame when u have to register with prtb and revenue or does it matter.
