iBOOD - one product a day? has anyone used this site?

Folks - looking at www.ibood.com (sent to me by a colleague in work) - stands for Internet best offer of the day - does anyone have any experience in using it? there seem to be some good products at good prices and the shipping rates to ireland are good also ....
btb, i have no connection to ibood - just an interested browser....
 
I have been tempted in the past but never actually bought anything. They have a good offer today for a 47" TV. Too broke after xmas too even think about that one!

sorry i cant confirm quality of service but they seem reputable, they have been going for a good few years afaik
 
The lads over at www.boards.ie have used them. Overall they seem pretty happy with their service with the only negative being that shipping can take up to 2 weeks.

I've never used them by the way.
 
I signed onto their emailing list. They do have good deals, but the one thing I noticed is that if it's something worth having (eg good MP3 player) it's normally sold out by the time you click on it in the morning.
 
I purchased an Argosy media player from them some time back. It arrived eventually and the time delay had me worried about whether my cash was gone into the great internet hole. But it arrived!! BTW the player is great and well worth the money and worry:)!
 
Yes, I've used it twice recently, and my cousin also used it, and there were no problems. Delivery can take longer than you would expect, but it's still good value, especially for higher priced items (the standard delvery charge of €12+ can make stuff like memory keys and bluetooth headsets unattractive).
 
Bought several items at this stage. As above, some items delivered within a week, some took a lot longer. Once you know that delivery might be slow its a good shop.

Bear in mind that they only sell that product until it sells out, they put up DS lites about 3 weeks before xmas for 40e below going rate. I happened to be logged in about 2am, seen the offer on the mail from circa 12:30am, jumped on but it was sold out already.
 
The offer goes live on the website at 11pm GMT each night. If you've got access it's no harm to check it because as mentioned the good stuff sells out fast.

Have bought a couple of things so far and am happy.
