I asked a HRV supplier about this at the House & Home show last year and was advised not to duct the extractor fan but to use charcoal filters in the fan instead. If you do go with HRV, I'd be interested in hearing your experiences. I'm keen but my builder thinks I'm mad, while a heating engineer thinks it is the way to go!
