How will I be paid?

Hi all,
Applied today for JSA but forgot to ask some questions.
How do I get paid, is it into my Post Office account/cash/cheque? Do I have to go to the Post Office every week? I will be getting back-dated pay from a month ago - will that money be given to me in one lump sum in my next payment. Thanks guys
 
All Jobseeker claims are now paid into the post office - you will receive a letter from SW when your claim is decided and it should say which post office your payment will be available at.

Arrears payments aren't always paid with the first payment but they're generally sorted out by the second payment so shouldn't take too long once the claim is awarded.
