The upstairs rooms have those old doors with a glass panel over them to let in light and ventilation into the landing.
I want to close these off and intall new regular height doors.
What is the best way to do this...do I need to take out the whole door frame and make a frame where the window part is to get it ready for slabbing and plastering?
Or is it best to leave the door frame and just make a cut above the top of the door frame and take out the window part?
Any advice appreciated if you have done a similar job of trying to close off these window panels.
