We installed a new polished granite hearth under a multifuel stove to match the kitchen worktop and counter unit. Can anyone suggest a supplier of suitable protectors for under the feet of the stove?
I know that it wont be moved about much after final installation, but already it is clear that any movement, say for cleaning the flue, will scratch the granite.
Floor protectors like those for under chair legs and castors are all made from plastic as far as I've found so far, so they are not strong enough for the weight to say nothing about the intense heat conducted through the metal stove.
