How to make profile private

Is there a method of making your profile private (such as post history) so they cannot be viewed?

This facility exists on boards.ie but does not appear to on AAM.

The privacy settings under "Allow users to:" have been changed to "Nobody" but after logging out and checking the user profile, post history is still visible.

I am not clear what you want to do?

But there are no details on your profile page, are there ?

The boards.ie profile includes a lot more information, such as email address, which we don't show on askaboutmoney?

There is no way to hide your post history on AAM. If such an option did exist, search engines could be used to circumvent it, as posts are public (apart from the secret forum where the mods pump Tesla and crypto).

I checked your profile using a Frequent User and this is what I see when I click on your name

When I click on your name again, I get this

I had not realised, that I can't even see a list of your other posts as an ordinary member.

As a moderator, I can see them.

Update:

I've just tested this by logging out of my account and searching for my posts. All of my posts came up.

I also asked someone else to do the same and all posts came up for them too.

You were asking about your profile.

When I log out and click on your name , nothing happens.

However, if I search

I will see all your posts.
