Hi, just wondering if anyone has any idea on how I can install a shower over a bath where the bath is freestanding, kind of in the middle of the room (except for where the taps are, they are next to a low/sloping wall) and straight above the taps is a velux window so there is no wall to attach a shower to. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Triton are now doing a range of [broken link removed] where all the controls/mixers/ etc. can be situated remotely in the attic or hot-press. You use a wireless remote to control the shower. One of these with a ceiling mounted [broken link removed] might work well.

Did this last year -- admittedly the bath was not in the middle of the room, but was in an awkward spot with a window at one end of a small bathroom and a sink at the other end of the bath. Managed to squeeze in a tiny wall/partition between bath and sink, enough to put a shower up. Made the bathroom even smaller/more cramped but well worth it to be able to have a decent shower at last.

You need a clawfoot tub shower set. This incorporates a large oval shower rail to enclose the bath with a shower curtain. The shower itself is a sturdy pipe with a shower head on the top of it that stands up.
Google for clawfoot tub shower kits or clawfoot tub shower enclosures.
No need to build a new stud/partition wall. Showers over clawfoot tubs are not a new idea, the hardware/plumbing accessories for them exists.

as the taps appear to be near the wall you could use the mixer set on the bath linked into a 1.5 pressure pump with shower head from ceiling, not a diy job, may sound daunting but guite easy and with pump a great shower.will not be thermastically controlled but large pipes to bath will compensate
