Hi
Does any-one know a (D.I.Y.) way to repair shallow-ish gouges in a bath?
I have 2 parallel gouges in the side of my bath, where the shower screen screen comes across the edge of the bath (which is not contributing to the problem, because the bottom of the screen is pliable rubber type material). I reckon they happened when the bathroom was being installed. I've ignored them so far, but I'm doing some up-dating of my place, and it's be nice to try and fix them. I think the bath is enameled, over metal (sounds like metal, when it's tapped), but there is no sign of rust because the scratches aren't deep enough. I've seen some things that can be used, when googling the problem, but does anyone have some personal experience of what could help? I'd be worried about using anything which involves sanding/could possibly cause further damage..
Thanks in advance
Nicola
