I'm a recent business graduate who would like to find some path into sustainable business or environmental management...some sort of green business. It's the one thing I can say after 33 years on this planet, that I am very interested in.
Unfortunately, I was one of those people who never seem to know what they are interested in...it literally has just hit me in the last year. Otherwise I may have studied something else.
Anyho, I can't afford to do another four year degree in this area. Nor have I got the necessary science subjects. Since I already have a degree in business, I was hoping people might share with me how they got into this area. Most people will have done engineering or environmental studies, so that won't apply to me. But if someone has managed to get work in this area without engineering/environmental studies, would you please either share here or PM me to tell me what you did to get into this area and what kind of work you are doing. I would be willing to do distance learning and I believe the UK might have a number of courses. But we are thinking of moving abroad for awhile and I would want to be sure that these courses would be relevant in other European countries, especially the German speaking ones. Or is there someones door I should be knocking on for some work experience? I've looked at the EPA but it's about a two hour journey from my location to there. Thank you Minister for Transport.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to what I could do, as it is the first time in my life that I am passionate about work!
