How much TRS should I be getting?

Hi there,

Just registered my details for PAYE anytime on revenue.ie and my mortgage TRS is listed at 0. I had presumed I was automatically receiving TRS but is it possible only my partner is receiving it and I am not? I was a FTB and he wasn't.

We took our mortgage out in mid 2006 and are currently getting TRS of €199 on our repayments of €1500 per month - does this sound about right?

Any help much appreciated.

Hey when TRS appears on your PAYE statement online it's always listed as 0. The fact that it's listed at all means you are receiving it.

my TRS went from 100 euro on 1365 monthly repayment in Jan 2009, to
75 euro on 1267euro in February, have mortgage since Dec 2005.
is that normal?

HI there, that doesn't sound right - Basically you get the 'Full' TRS as a 1st time buyer for 8 years (I think) from the time you've taken out your 1st mortgage - make sense? - question e'thing - I got a rebate for my partner of €2800 because I questioned the way they had worked out his TRS! So ask the question you could be in for a refund!
