How much for new aerial?

There is a FTA system in the house I rent out, paid by me. My tenant tells me he's lloking into getting a new aerial as he has no Irish channels since the changeover. I am happy to pay for this but just wondering what it's likely to cost?
 
Depending on the houses location & transmission's signal strength, you may just need an "indoor" aerial. Assuming the TV can receive saorview (if not, you will need to purchase a saorview box to pick up the Irish channels).

Was the TV able to pick up all the Irish channels before the change over (specifically TV3) ? If so, then indoor aerial should be ok.

Can you run a definitive indoor aerial test in advance, before purchasing the aerial?
