How many weeks PRSI have I paid in 2004?

Basically in 2004 , I worked 2 jobs but they overlapped each other. Started job1 in april, started job2 in june, finished job1 in july, finished job2 in september (I was a student at the time).
I have 15 weeks paid PRSI contributions in job2 and 14 weeks paid PRSI contributions in job1, they were completely separate payments from each other (as shown on each of my p45's).
Just wondering does this amount to 29 weeks paid PRSI contributions? For the purposes of claiming state benefits.

Unfortunately, they won't be treated as 29 weeks. From what you say, it sounds like both jobs were treated as if theyd were the only employment you had for PRSI purposes adn maybe tax too. You should contact your Revenue office t adn brign both p45s to see what they say. You might have overpiad PRSI as one of the employments should have been treated as subsidiary employment, i'd say.
