how many months bank statements for means test?

Hi,
I was wondering, How many months bank statements do they ask for when being means tested for JA?

About six should do it...the idea is just to show that you have no hidden income and no big capital amounts that you have not declared. Alos, they like to note if you withdrew big amounts in order to avoid haviung them assessed as capital.

can you also tell me
If you have a large standing order outgoing once a month, (its to a friend who I owe money to), Would they query that?
 
I can only think of 2 questions ...well how large is the standing order ? and where is the money coming from to pay the standing order ?
 
its €400, which wasn't a prob coz living with folks
was getting €185.50 a week on btea allowance
 
3 month statement (standard) I think, unless the specify. They only seem to be bothered with the one a/c i.e. the one your payment will be debited to.

I doubt they'd ask you about that, unless you volunteered it.
