how many hours work to earn 1 tax credit

Hi All, my husband is due to finish up a work contract. (25wks) He is short 1 weeks work in order to sign back on and claim full jobseekers benefit for 9 months. Instead he will have to carry on from his old jobseekers claim meaning he has only 4 months left :-( Hopefully his employer can give him another few days but does anybody know how many hours he would need to work in order to claim 1 more tax credit. Thanks

If he is paid more than €38 for the week, he will get a class A paid PRSI contribution. I am fairly sure that this is what he needs.
