How long for self employed tax cert?

Hi,

One of my employers of whom i sub contract for has asked for a copy of my Schedule D. Am i right in thinking this is just the self employed tax cert? I applied for this beginning of March, how long does it normally take for them to send it out? And is there any way to expedite it?
