How is USC calculated

I understand about the bands of USC. However my new tax cert has some additional information on it. Beside my new employer is the statement
"All income in this employment is chargeable at 8%". This is in its own section distinct from the other employment I was in where the bands were applied. I earn nowhere near E70k anyway. Can anyone shed any light on this please? I've searched for info online about this but am none the wiser.
 
Your USC bands are still applied to the other employment. You can move them over on your account on the revenue website.
 
Log into My Account and go into manage my tax. You should see how your credits and USC are divided and you can change them there.
