how hard is it to get a top up on my mortgage?

i already have a joint mortgage with my partner, we need a top up to finish the house so we can move in.
we have applied for a top up and are waiting on a reply. we have taken out 210.000 this was to build the house and to buy the site which cost 65,000. we are applying for a futher 50,000.
we are both in full time work. we have a small car loan that can be paid off if required. we have savings of 9,000.
