How does a PAYE employee get tax relief on a PRSA?

If you contribute regularly to a PRSA, but not through an employer scheme, how do you ensure you get tax relief?

You can do a return at the end of the year and get relief that way, but can you get your Certificate of Tax Credits amended so as to get relief every month throughout the current tax year?

What is the best way to do this, via ROS?

(This may have been covered elsewhere, but I did not find it.)

Thanks.

For PAYE you write into your local tax office, they will adjust your Tax Credits
For PRSI you write ([broken link removed]) to Sarsfield House in Limerick after the end of the tax year, they will send you a cheque etc.
