I really want to work out how to cover this space. It is about 60cm wide, 40cm deep annnd.. 300cm high! The problem is that most of the sliding door they sell are about 226cm.
Here is the pic:
Does anybody know anything about how the tracker works? Will a door that doesn't go all the way up work if top is covered with board?
If i were you i would install a shelved unit with a door.
Units vary in sizes so you could install a 5oomm shelved unit with a filler piece either side. And get the door to match walls in colour.
jutad, you could buy a track system as components, Henderson's do one that may suit. Possible to get through B&Q, I think, then make up your own door panel with 10' sheet of MDF or gable panels from a kitchen or wardrobe supplier.
You could use the MDF and have a full length mirror fitted to the face. This complete piece could slide past onto the chimney breast.
