How do I apply 4% rent increase to HAP tenants?

Howdy. First post. Hopefully in correct place. I'm trying to initiate the 4% rent increase for a property that has HAP tennants. Has anyone done this process? What are the steps. TIA

As with any other tenant, use the RTB calculator to work out what you can increase it to. Take a copy of the results to show you've used their tool.

I'm not familiar with the mechanism by which the LA are notified though.

Thanks for response. Yep I'm aware of that but need to know the process. I assume send notice to tenant but who else do I notify local authority / HAP etc.
