Max Household Income allowed to qualify is 30k. 2. Max Grant is 10.5k 3. Priority is given to people with medical needs and or financial need. What surprises me is that there is no mention of any savings been taken into account or disregarded, which seems strange. Are you allowed have any savings at all and still qualify.

L ladybird Guest 12 Oct 2012 #2 It says take €5,000 off for this, that etc SO after they said it was means-tested, and your income is put in - it then tells you how much savings you are allowed have ie €5,000 for every person in house up to 18 etc. Read it again. It's just badly written.
