House Insurance - Rebuilding Cost approx 630K

Any ideas as to the cheapest insurer as the rebuilding costs are quite large. Our rebuilding cost is approx 630K, contents 120K and the premium is 1100 for the year.
Have tried a few of the main insurers but they are all around the same.
Was wondering if anyone knows if some particular insurer deals in this part of the market ?

you must live in a 6-7000 sq ft mansion if thats your rebuilding cost
 
Depends on where you are located in Ireland.
Dublin can be up to 200 Euro per sq ft so that would make it around a 3000 sq ft residence in Dublin.
 
that sounds about right. My rebuilding cost is high enough and is cost is a % of yours, and my quote is the same % of your quote.

I went through Ulster Bank.
 
I, too, used Ulster Bank as they were the cheapest and the quote was around €800 for rebuild of 500k. Its not a mansion and its the family home before anyone thinks I'm Eddie Jordan - its just the price of getting the exact brick and other gear so you dont get a white elephant in amongst the grey ones.
 
time & time again I.ve found 123.ie greta for home insurance quote...
