The house already has an extension to the side that does have PP we only moved in a few years and checked this in the process of buying. Is the shed considered entity?

So you can keep the side extension as it is and construct a shed up to 25Sq. M in internal floor area once you have the 25 Sq. M of a garden left. Also bear in mind the height restrictions (4m flat roof, 3m pitched roof) and window locations.
