House deeds

My husband and I built our family home together and had a joint mortgage but as we began building the house before we were married on his family's land the house deeds are only in his name. We now are in the fortunate position to have our mortgage paid off but I'm wondering if there is any point in me getting my name added to the deeds? And if so how do I go about this and what would the costs be etc?
 
Always handy to have both names on the deeds, if the other dies.

Cost would simply be solicitors time in attending to the task.
