House as Holiday Let Investment

I am looking at the possibility of renting out a house in Dublin on a holiday let basis. That is, I would rent to different tenants on a week to week basis. I am wondering am I still eligible(as a residential investor) to claim the mortgage interest as an expense for tax purposes? I know for long term leases, the landlord must register with the PTRB before they claim relief - would this still be required for the model described above?
