Not sure if this is the appropriate forum...

Anyone know what a (qualified) teacher of EFL would charge by the hour for one on one private tuition, in the student's own home?

Failing that, I suppose the rate should be close enough to the 'grinds' rate for academic subjects so if anyone could tell me that, it would probably help.

Thanks

C

Our daughter is having a grind for a leaving certificate subject and we pay €35 for an hour.

Thanks both of you - that gives me something to go on.

So €25 should be a bargain then? ;)

Ah, you have found the career then! I'll stop looking for you!

Wow, those primary teacher rates are something else!

:D

Have been doing this on the side for years - just pocket money really. Thought I might have been undercharging, but it's often for people I kind of know so I didn't want to be sticking my arm in either!

If you really have been looking for a career for me, don't stop now! ;)
