Hot ash vac?

Hi, anyone know where i can get a hot ash vacuum. I've looked on the net and all i can see is American sites that sell them. Thanks
 
Saw one advertised on TV last night - If I recall, it mentioned Argos and other dept stores.
 
From memory the one recently advertised on TV 'casually' mentions it will vacuum up COLD ash...
Just as any vacuum would!:rolleyes:
 
The majority of the products available are strictly for use with cold ash, the one I know of for hot ash is around €450.00 > 500.00, I have one for cleaning boilers etc and find it good for fine ash, they are not designed for picking up clinker just ash.
 
I saw one in either Dunnes Cornelscourt or Tesco can't remember which They look like a red metal bin
 
They're more trouble than they're worth. We had one many moons ago and it was too much hassle.
 
Lidl often have them for sale...you could try in your local store and they might have some left in stock.
 
Connacht Gold in Sligo have them, 69.99! The one that is being advertised on tv at the moment.
