Dont suppose anyone has done anything crazy like left a steady public sector job and went into Horticulture or Agricultre?
Ive been contemplating a career change for years and think Id be interested in the fields (no pun ;-) mentioned. Fresh air and Irish weather! What could go wrong?
Are there any part-time courses worth looking at? Any advice or ideas greatly appreciated.

I think that you are able to do training courses whilst taking annual leave or the shorter working year.
