I have come across this company that is offering insulation on line

Never used them before but v competitive prices, free delivery to Eire ,any self builders out there had any dealings with them?

1. Stay away from multi foils.

2. if this is a new build, you need to clear the type and actual product with your architect / engineer to ensure it complies with building regulations.

3. ensure what ever product you choose has a relavant IAB or BBA certificate for what you want to use it as.....

Agree with you on the multifoil, and i've calculated my u value and r .
Most of the products listed are by the big names Knauf Rockwool etc ,however the price difference is vgood.
