most standard one out there are still not as good as a old sponge, unless u get a really powerful pressure washer, u still need to WAX on,WAX off ur car for a good clean result!
Kacher are very good, We have had two now at this stage and are great. Wet the car with them, Wash all the heavy dirt off from around the sill's of the car etc and then bucket of warm water and a sponge for the rest of the car and then rince with the Karcher again. Best way and the smallest amount of damage to a cars paint work. Depends on how much you love your car but a full polish once every six weeks or so would help aswell.
Article in last weeeks Mail, about using pressure washers on your car.
Apparently, if you aim the jet at the sidewall of your tyres, you are increasing the chances of getting a blow out at some stage. It seems to cause a weakness in the sidewall of some tyres on the market.
It's true but you want to have plenty of pressure in the pump, Hold it on the tyre for while and then if the tyres are a getting very warm and the walls of the tyre are not great you of course will have but if you use it as per the instructions you will be fine.
