Hi Im due holiday pay from a previous employer from 2018. When I receive this payment from them hopefully in the next coming weeks can I make a manual paye payment for 2018 and it be classed as 2018 salary?
Thanks for replies probably a really stupid question but could I not return the paye on it on a revenue form 11 for 2018? The tax implications may differ significantly between this year and last
I assume as it's holiday pay then it's from an employer rather than being self employed. Therefore paye etc has to be deducted and net amount paid to you in 2019. I imagine it will be subject to emergency tax etc as you're not still an employee. How come it's lingered so long into 2019?
