Holiday location

Hi,

I am hoping to go away this year with a pal (dates totally flexible) on a holiday. We are both in our mid 30's (kid free for the week) and want fab beach, sunny weather, restaurants and cocktails Nothing too mad but no where quiet at the same time.

All ideas welcomed.

My vote would be Lisbon. Sunny weather? <tick> Beaches? <Estoril & Cascais> Restaurants? <tick, basically the whole of Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto - there will be something cheap and delicious there> Cocktails? <tick - plenty of excellent night life!>
