Help with mothers pension calculation.

So I've dont alot of reading up on contributory and non-contributory pensions and I was hoping you guys can confirm my suspicions.

My mothers contribution history (currently) from welfare states:

Total contributions: 2071
Reckonable contributions: 266
Reckonable contributions for pension: 1805

She is 58, so still a bit away from retirement but im worried she wont be able to claim ever the contributory pension as shes only ever worked 5 years-ish, she was a homemaker the rest of her life along with receiving welfare for an injury putting her out of the workforce early on.

If I understood, as it stand right now she doesnt qualify for contributory pension, does reckon-able need to be minimum 520? I tried looking into the HomeCaring Periods Scheme to make up the shortfall but that requires you to be qualified for the contributory first which I think she doesnt.

Is there anything else she can do to qualify for contributory or will she just be given non-contributory when she retires?
 
She was getting Voluntary social insurance contributions due to her received welfare but are these disregarded because she hasnt worked 10 years? (520 credits)
 
She will need employment to get to the required minimum 520 paid contributions level.

If she would have difficulty in gaining employment, she could do home employment.

If she has no other income she could qualify for a non contributory pension.

If her spouse qualifies for a contributory pension and she has no income, her spouse could qualify for an increase for a qualified adult. This would be payable to your mother immediately when her spouse starts his contributory pension.
 
If she is receiving Invalidity Pension because of her illness\injury, she will automatically transfer to contributory state pension at age 66.

I’m trying to help a friend sort out her entitlement.

She’s 65.

Worked for a few years here, moved to UK and was there for a few years. Then came back here in 1997 and hasn’t worked a lot outside the home.
She thought her years as a SAHM might count. Youngest was born I thinking 2006.

Then she was on disability for a few years. She still is. Might have been unemployment assistance and single parents allowances at various points.

I’ve asked her to get her contributions record to start it off. But I’m kinda thinking she won’t have 10 years of contributions.
 
If she is short of 520 full rate paid contributions she could gain some more from employment up to age 70. This could be minimal employment from a family member or friend.
