Hi everyone!!
I’m just in the process of applying for social housing. Only problem is my name is on a mortgage already, I haven’t lived there in 10 years or paid anything off the mortgage since I left and my ex partner has been paying it on his own. I’ve been renting privately for 10 years on my own with my kids. I work part time and receive FIS also. Having to fill out the HPL1 form this will obviously show up even though I haven’t lied on the application form about my situation and I’ve explained it all to them. Just want to know am I wasting my time applying even though I meet income criteria and all that side of things??
