hi, i am looking for some tips, we have an water pump in the hot press up stairs for the pressurised water system, presently its sitting on the floor, pre cast concrete, trouble is its not bolted down, and i dont know if that is contributing to the noise or not,

we can hear it every time it cuts in, washing your teeth last thing at night, could i just cover it completely with some insulation or other sound prrof material, it never runs very long so i dont think it should over heat etc if covered, what would be best for sound proofing?

i have thought to mount it on rubber mounts like engine mounts1
