Height-adjustable Ceiling Pendant Light - where to buy?

Hiya folks,

Where can I buy a height-adjustable ceiling pendant light? Think ordinary ceiling light but with (usually) a coiled cord that allows you to pull it lower (say over a table) or push it up again out of the way.

B&Q do have the style I'm looking for, but only in a chrome finish which won't work in the room I want to install it - which is all warm yellows and terracottas (so black or a warm colour would work). (Here's the [broken link removed])

Try Total Lighting on the Long Mile Road (01 450 9999) or Falks (at least two outlets in Dublin). Total are a wholesale operation but I've bought a few things from them. Falks do beautiful shades. Have you Googled?

National Lighting have a huge selection. They had a moving sale (just off pearce street) last month where some of the gear was 50% off. I think there other store is on the nangor road

They're better known as 'rise and fall' pendants.

Thanks very much for links and tips. No success yet but I'll keep looking.
