Not at all. Any fireplace company will supply and fit a hearth. You could get the same company to fit your fireplace. A decent hearth on its own will cost you around 150, plus installation.

I notice you are in Navan - there is an excellent and very very reasonable company in Trim, Celtic Fireplaces, we got our two fireplaces there - very good company to deal with, can highly recommend. (no connection to them)
They also supplied just a hearth for one of our rooms.
