Health Insurance Renewal - possible change from PMI2511

health insurance is currently up for renewal, currently on pmi 25 11 however its really expensive 1700e a year. was kinda hoping to find something alot cheaper without under minding the cover, don't really need the day to day expenses. was thinking along the same lines as LAYA simply connect plus but with VHI, if anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated, as its a minefield.

Welcome to AAM. The following VHI plan ticks the boxes you mention plus one alternative, details as follows;

1. VHI PMI 07 10; price 1240pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered; private/hi-tech excess capped at 150 x 1 max per year for all
admissions. Day case excess 50 per procedure. Good day to day cover included, refund of 50% for gp, consultants, dental, physio etc.
(Kingsbridge Private hospital Sligo, and Whitfield Private Clinic Waterford not covered).

2. VHI PMI 37 13; price 1147pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered; private/hi-tech excess 100 per admission and per day case
procedure. Limited day to day cover on this plan.
