Have you rented a (commercial) property from NAMA?

I have my eye on a commercial property which I went to view yesterday. I was informed by the auctioneer that NAMA were now the LL.

Has anyone here had any dealings with a NAMA as their LL?

Any input would be more than appreciated.

Do Nama deal directly with tenant's I would have thought not. Presumable they have an agent, one of the large estate agents presumably.

Hi Bronte, I am not overly updated on the ins and outs of nama but I do believe that the large EA's are agents for them??

After a second viewing I was told the owener of the building was in the interim of transfering the property over to nama.

I am not getting clear answers so am wondering were do I stand if I take out a lease in the midst of all these dealings?

Your solicitor will clarify who the correct person is who is to be the named landlord with all the associated obligations arising under a lease.
