I was let go by my employer last week with two weeks notice,he basicly told me I was not doing the job properly. I have been employed here for 4 months.During this time, I have been givin no proper training,however 1month into the job he had a chat with me to say I needed to better my skills on the computer ,other that I've had no other consultation. No tools were put in place to give me any support, & I am just wondering is there a process an employer has to go through,or can they just let you go?I know I have no case for unfair dismisal being in the job for such a short time, but do I have any rights at all? I would welcome any views thanks in advance
 
For what it's worth unfair dismissals protection does not apply until you have served a year in the job.

Was training offered when you took the job?
Were you hired on the basis that you had the skills to do the job?
