Handling Micromanaging Boss who wants to fire you

I have been at a job for six months in which this company has been non-transparent with me and the clients and did not fully disclose what this position entailed.

Since I have displayed unhappiness, my manager has decided to micromanage every tedious detail to the point where it's becoming high-schoolish.

How do I handle this situation and answer her silly questions? I feel she intends on firing me which I would gladly welcome if it wasn't for this economy...

Sorry you are dealing with this mess which must be very stressful.
But you must be pragmatic.
Micromanaging bosses tend to micromanage forever....
So you may need to accept it or...
Ask her if she has specific concerns about your work and if so could you meet perhaps on a daily or weekly basis to go through things until she is confident that you are doing things her way.

Issue no 2.
This isn't the job you thought you were getting.
Probably nothing you can do about this other than accept it until you get another job.
Or be a good soldier and get promoted out of the donkey work...up to the more "challenging" level you aspire to.

Good luck
