I doubt that it's any skin off their nose too bring it back? Not sure you'd be flavour of the month with the drivers if you were to do it too often?
Not sure about that? There has to be a cost involved and I'd assume the bosses would frown upon lots of returns from one individual?!I doubt that it's any skin off their nose too bring it back?
The drivers just deliver they don't pick the items from what I've seen.the bosses would frown upon lots of returns from one individual?!
Ah....Thats another question I'll have next time! The drivers just deliver they don't pick the items from what I've seen.
It's also gone up in stores that outsource this to the likes of Buymie, Just Eat, etc.Maybe this is why the general cost has gone up for regular shoppers.
But the store still has to pick and pack though ?It's also gone up in stores that outsource this to the likes of Buymie, Just Eat, etc.
Always found the drivers very helpful never had an issueK, good to know.

Not in the likes of Lidl and Aldi. But the store still has to pick and pack though ?
I genuinely have never come across a friendlier more helpful bunch than my local Tesco delivery drivers. They even love my dog, despite the fact that he hates vans and makes his views very clearAlways found the drivers very helpful never had an issue
Have to agree it's very noticeable.I genuinely have never come across a friendlier more helpful bunch than my local Tesco delivery drivers.
Strongly agree. All of the ones I auve encountered are lovely.I genuinely have never come across a friendlier more helpful bunch than my local Tesco delivery drivers.
The economics are pretty simple, you can service a lot more customers with a smaller footprint, it's nothing to do with increased costs for regular shoppersdont understand the economics for the supermarket. I see their staff doing the picking every week, the extra cost must be close to an hours labour in the store and getting it to truck. Then the delivery driver and van cost. Maybe this is why the general cost has gone up for regular shoppers.
What is the smaller foot print ? Dunnes stuff are picking in store just like me. The cost has to be passed on somewhere. The delivery charge doesn't cover it as I see.The economics are pretty simple, you can service a lot more customers with a smaller footprint,
Their staff are there anyway, you are an extra person. What is the smaller foot print ? Dunnes stuff are picking in store just like me. The cost has to be passed on somewhere. The delivery charge doesn't cover it as I see.
That makes no sense, I doubt they have spare staff sitting on their hands.Their staff are there anyway,
