One of the most important political decisions of recent years is being made just now by c. 2,500 members of the Green party (of whom c. 800 live in NI) as a 2/3 majority is required just 850ish people could derail the decision, not a great situation. Of course its not the Greens fault they are in this position, if FF or FG could form a governments without them they would.

It seems to me that if the Greens fudge this opportunity they will make themselves irrelevant for another decade.

It's bad enough we have one UK based Party in the Dail without the Greens giving a veto to UK voters as well. What did our forefathers fight for?!
