Golden Pages - no free listings in 2011

Just had a call from Golden Pages to say free listings are being removed and only paid for advertisements will be included from now on.

As a result, I'd imagine the free delivery to ones doorstep of such a bulky publication will be of less value to the consumer from now on.
 
I would say that the publication itself will be less bulky than before
 
The weight was definitely a health and safety issue DB74 so I suppose they have to be seen to be doing something to reduce the risk.
 
The internet must be hitting it's revenue very hard. I rarely look up the Golden Pages anymore
 
+1 for the Internet.

Set up a website, get it properly SEOd and you'll get plenty of business through it.
