Gift to Child in Year of Marriage?

Hi All,
Can you tell me if there is a limit on the amount of money that a parent gives to a child on the year of her Marriage?

Can I give her 60k to do with as she pleases, pay for wedding, honeymoon etc or is this capped?

If so what is the most amount of money that a parent can give to a child? I would like to pay for her wedding and help her pay down her Mortgage?

However, this is the second post where you have specially mentioned a gift in the year of someones marriage. The fact that she is getting married is irrelevant

Just to be clear, the tax laws on gfts ( CAT) do not have any reference to gifts in the year of marriage, it's no different to any other year.
