getting someone to my home to fix wifi!

I have admitted defeat. I have a broad band router, wireless, that works fine.
I moved 1 year ago to a larger house, and installed a wireless repeater, that seem to work for my laptop in the garden, but not with my wifi radio.

I am the kind of person that can screw stuff up in a very convoluted way, and still have it work, but this has me beaten.

Does anyone know of someone reliable and not too pricey who can get this set up for me?

What brand is wireless radio? If it's one Aldi sold a while ago they need a router very near them for success.
